Job summary

The Louisiana Annual Conference is seeking a Communications Operations Coordinator to serve as the operational engine behind our communications and event strategy. You will manage digital systems, workflows, and projects for conferences, training, and ministry events from planning through follow-up.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with strong communication, analytics, problem-solving, and project-management skills to ensure timely, effective ministry

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of relevant communications experience.
• Experience with WordPress CMS.
• Experience creating email campaigns with HubSpot.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects and timelines.
• Experience using Canva or similar design tools.
• Strong organizational and written communication skills.
• In-office work at Baton Rouge Conference Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead communications for Conference events from planning through post event follow up.
• Manage multiple events and communication projects with timelines.
• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of the Louisiana Annual Conference.
• Develop and maintain digital tools (WordPress pages, online registration forms).
• Create HubSpot email campaigns and audience segmentation.
• Coordinate email, website, and social media communications.
• Create event graphics using Canva while maintaining branding.
• Write event recaps and ministry impact stories.
• Monitor registration and engagement; adjust strategies as needed.
• Evaluate priorities and ensure alignment with goals and strategies.
• Anticipate risks and address issues affecting timelines or participation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
