Job summary

Elluminate seeks an experienced Manager of Communications to develop and execute the organization's communications plan, social media strategy, and fundraising initiatives. The role requires an exceptional writer, editor and digital content creator who can manage multiple projects and deadlines while collaborating with staff, Board members, consultants, and vendors.

The Manager will oversee the communications calendar, donor communications, newsletters, program recruitment and impact

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 6-8 years of experience in communications, events, marketing, nonprofit management or related field.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with ability to create clear content.
• Strong project-management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience supporting fundraising communications or donor engagement.
• Experience planning events and managing logistics with vendors.
• Proficiency with Canva and visual content tools.

Responsibilities

• Communications- Manage Elluminate's communications calendar and day-to-day external communications across fundraising, programs, events and organizational initiatives.
• Write, edit, produce and distribute newsletters, fundraising appeals and campaigns, donor communications and program recruitment materials.
• Collaborate with development and program staff to support donor cultivation, event fundraising communications and sponsorship materials.
• Maintain Elluminate's website and social media presence, ensuring content is current and engaging.
• Coordinate graphic design and production with designers, printers and other vendors.
