Job summary

Arista Advanced Pet Care Hospital is seeking a Communication Liaison to serve as the human touch in high-stress veterinary environments. You will coordinate client communications, relay needs between front and back-of-house teams, and help create streamlined, compassionate experiences for pets and their owners.

The role emphasizes patient advocacy, excellent communication, and collaboration with the Care Navigation Team to ensure top-quality care and service across all shifts, including nights

Qualifications

• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and processes.

• Excellent verbal & written communication skills for in-person, telephone, video, email, and texting.
• High emotional intelligence and highly personable and flexible communication style to serve the needs of pet owners and veterinary teams.
• Strong active listening and empathy skills.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated for an efficient working style.
• Ability to work in-person nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Ability to meet any position-specific screening requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate smooth client communication across hospital teams by managing information flow through appropriate channels.
• Coordinate needs and concerns between front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
• Develop and refine communication protocols to reduce client stress and improve efficiency.
• Advocate for patients and act as the friendly, professional voice of Arista Advanced Pet Care Hospital.

The Communication Liaison is a critical role in ensuring patient and client advocacy while coordinating with internal Team Members for the best possible outcomes for pets. A Day in the Life

• Client Communication: Facilitate the hospital team's ability to work as efficiently as possible with minimal interruption by managing the flow of basic communication,including updates and information flow through the appropriate channels
• Internal Coordination: Communicating client needs and concerns from "front of house" to "back of house" and vice versa
• Process Improvement: Developing and refining communication protocols to reduce client stress and improve efficiency. Work closely with the Care Navigation Team to ensure a streamlined, well-organized, and comfortable experience for each client and their pet
