Job summary

Eversource is seeking a Senior Creative Services Manager to independently manage projects from intake to delivery and act as a strategic communications partner. You will oversee project scope, timelines, vendor coordination, and cross-functional collaboration with leaders and external vendors.

The role requires advanced Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency, strong PM skills, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment with periodic in-office requirements across MA/NH areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, graphic design, communications/marketing, project management, business administration, or related field is required.
• Eight to ten years in creative services, corporate communications, project management, branding, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Function as point of contact for Creative Services inquiries, defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines through client consultation.
• Provides project advice, schedules and updates while ensuring compliance with design standards.
• Liaison between Creative Services and IT for meeting technologies and AV requirements.
• Coordinates with IT to support hardware, software, and technology needs for Creative Services and Video Production teams.
• Assists with vendor coordination, POs, scheduling and workflow management systems.
• Facilitates project meetings, documents requirements, and communicates specifications and milestones.

Job description

Serve as an ambassador for Creative Services, independently managing projects from intake through delivery.

Acts as a strategic communications partner, providing consultation, project management, resource coordination, creative strategy, and execution support.

Collaborates closely with internal clients, leadership, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of all project deliverables.

Responsibilities include project intake and prioritization, stakeholder consultation, communication guidance/planning, meeting facilitation, vendor coordination, process improvement, asset management, and support of Creative Services technologies and systems.

HYBRID WORK POLICY

Eversource supports work-life balance by offering hybrid schedules for certain roles. Eligibility is based on job responsibilities, operational needs, nature of work and team dynamics. Current guidelines require employees to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day set by the employee and supervisor based on department needs. These guidelines apply to roles approved for remote work and are subject to change, based on managerial discretion and work performance. All applicants must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed (for example: emergencies, training, or other business needs) or should the policy change.

Essential Functions

• Function as point of contact for Creative Services inquiries, defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines through client consultation.
• Works creatively and provides project advice, schedules and updates while remaining within Company design standards.
• Can help distill complex info and provide guidance and direction Liaison between Creative Services and Information Technology, supporting meeting technologies, event production, audiovisual requirements, and communications-related initiatives.
• Coordinates with IT to support hardware, software, and technology needs for Creative Services and Video Production teams.
• Assists with vendor coordination, purchase orders, specification development, scheduling, and administration of project intake and workflow management systems.
• Facilitates project meetings, documents requirements and action items, communicates project specifications, manages schedules, and ensures timely delivery of project milestones.
• Leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of intake processes, project tracking systems, team resources, and Creative Services collaboration platforms.
• Provides cross-functional support across the department as business needs, project priorities, and workload demands require.
• Provides coaching and mentorship to team members.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships within Communications to share ideas, lead cross‑disciplinary projects, and coordinate shared work efforts.
• Proactively communicates issues, impediments, and status updates to Communications management.

Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Forms.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
• Experience supporting both PC and Mac operating environments.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of creative design principles, typography, branding, digital communications, print production, and multimedia deliverables.
• Understanding of printing methods, production specifications, and file preparation requirements.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build productive relationships across all organizational levels.
• Experience working with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated accountability and ownership of projects from initiation through completion.
• Knowledge of audiovisual technologies, systems, and meeting support processes preferred.
• Experience managing vendors, budgets, purchase orders, and procurement activities preferred.
• Plays a key role in managing external creative service contractors, ensuring the effective delivery of creative support across all departments at Eversource.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in communications, Graphic Design, Communications/Marketing, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field required.

Experience

• Eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience in creative services, corporate communications, project management, branding, marketing communications, or a related field, preferably within an in‑house creative team, corporate environment, or agency setting.
• Experience supporting communication initiatives, technology‑enabled collaboration tools, and cross‑functional project teams preferred.

Working Conditions

Must be available to work emergency storm assignment as required. Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary. Must be able to support occasional early morning, evening, or event‑related activities as needed.
