Job summary

Casey’s is offering a Communications Intern role based at the Store Support Center in Ankeny, Iowa. You’ll work with leaders across the organization and intern with a Fortune 500 company that values professional growth and meaningful work.

The internship may transition to part-time during the school year and could lead to full-time opportunities after graduation. As a Communications Intern, you’ll support sponsorship activations, plan Casey’s Center events, and craft communications for community

Qualifications

• Current Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations or related field.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Support sponsorship activations and plan events including Casey’s Center initiatives for the upcoming fiscal year.
• Prepare communications for community giving efforts in addition to PR and editorial support.
• Contribute to various other projects, gaining hands-on experience in strategic planning, content development and stakeholder engagement.

Compensation: This internship offers a starting pay range of $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on academic year, qualifications, experience, and skills relevant to the role.
