Job summary

Harley-Davidson Motor Company is seeking a Communications Coordinator to support global employee and dealer communications and help execute corporate priorities. You will manage channels, assist with content creation, and support reporting and analytics to improve engagement.

You will work with a team to craft messages, edit for grammar and brand voice, and contribute to quarterly updates using PowerPoint and Canva. This role requires collaboration across levels and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related experience in digital/ corporate communications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams and SharePoint.
• Experience with Canva and Adobe Analytics is required.
• Ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential information.
• Ability to work under pressure with short timelines.
• Ability to collaborate across levels in the organization.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day global communications activities for HD's internal and dealer audiences.
• Manage channels (intranet, email, events, intranets) and contribute to content planning.
• Participate in scripting, editing, and publishing to tell HD stories via visual assets.
• Create PowerPoint/Canva updates for quarterly business reviews.
• Provide basic communication counsel and edit for tone and brand voice.
• Support data reporting on channel performance and analytics.

Job Summary

This role provides critical communications support to keep our global employees and dealers informed and engaged in the implementation of our corporate strategic priorities.

Job Responsibilities

Supports the day-to-day responsibilities of the global H-D Communications team by contributing through channel management, communication planning, writing, editing, content creation, publishing, and some administrative tasks to help the team deliver at a high level across employee and dealer audiences.

Key activities include:

• Supporting the delivery of project-based communications using and managing company-owned channels (e.g., intranets, email, in-person and live streamed events, publishing to employee and dealer intranet sites, etc.).
• Serves as an active participant on H-D's internal content team which includes journalistic-style idea generation, writing, editing and publishing. Also includes working to enhance stories through the creation of visual and video assets.
• Supports quarterly business updates through presentation development in PowerPoint and/or Canva.
• Providing basic communication counsel to company functions in need of sending company-wide messages, including editing for grammar, tone, and Harley-Davidson's brand voice.
• Collect data and create reports on communication channel performance.
• Conducts research and audits of communication channels, as needed, including supporting improvement initiatives.
• Provide back-up support as needed for dealer webinar production.
• Provides administrative communication support for full communication team, as needed.
• Actively supports other communication department projects and initiatives, as needed.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Education Specifications

A Bachelor's degree in journalism, communication, marketing or related field is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience Requirements

• At least 3 years of related experience is required, including supporting digital communications
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams and SharePoint
• Ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential information
• Ability to work under pressure with short timelines
• Ability to work collaboratively and with limited direction

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
