The Communications & Content Specialist serves as the embedded communications professional for the Innovation District and contributes editorial and storytelling content to the Division of Marketing & Communications’ institutional channels. The role is a 100% full‑time, exempt position that blends unit‑level and institution‑wide storytelling, digital curriculum management, and stakeholder engagement.
Essential skills include strong writing, journalistic instincts, digital fluency, and the ability to navigate both unit‑level and institution‑wide priorities. The ideal candidate is versatile, comfortable building relationships across campus, and able to create content that engages diverse audiences while supporting UGA’s reputation and strategic goals.

Salary: $48,000–$55,000 annually. Work schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8am‑5pm (occasional nights and weekends required). The position is offered on an exempt basis with full‑time effort.
