Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Marketing in the Division of Communications and External Affairs, the Communications Broadcast & Multimedia Production Coordinator is responsible for creating, capturing, and producing high-quality visual assets that support the college's marketing, advertising, and communications initiatives. This position oversees all aspects of photography, video pre-production, production, post-production, and content distribution across digital and traditional platforms, developing compelling multimedia content that promotes the college's academic programs, student learning experiences, campus life, and student recruitment efforts. By producing engaging visual storytelling, the coordinator helps strengthen the college's brand, increase audience engagement, and advance the institution's strategic enrollment and outreach goals.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Develop and produce high-quality multimedia content including student recruitment videos, advertising/marketing campaigns, student success stories, and digital marketing assets that support enrollment and institutional goals.
• Lead all phases of video production, including concept development, scriptwriting, storyboarding, creative brief preparation, project scheduling, and coordination with campus stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Academic departments, Enrollment Management and Student Affairs to identify content opportunities that effectively promote the College’s mission, programs, and student experience in visual formats.
• Perform post-production editing, including footage management, motion graphics, audio enhancement, color correction, captioning, and formatting content for multiple digital channels using industry-standard editing software.
• Plans, coordinates, and oversees photography and image development activities, including location scouting, subject edits and ensuring assets meet project and branding requirements.
• Monitor and analyze emerging trends in digital media, content marketing, artificial intelligence (AI), and multimedia technologies to enhance recruitment communications and audience engagement.
• Research, evaluate, and implement AI-powered tools and automation solutions for video production, content creation, transcription, editing workflows, audience targeting, and marketing optimization.
• Regularly review and update documentation to reflect changes in technology or processes;
• Additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of how to select and engage appropriate participants/visual talent and scout locations for photoshoots that effectively highlight the college's campus, academic programs, and the student experience at the college.
• Strong communications and problem-solving skills to collaborate with marketing team members to fulfill photo and video project objectives.
• Demonstrated expertise in operating professional-grade photography and videography equipment, including DSLR and mirrorless cameras, cinema cameras, lenses, lighting systems, audio recording equipment, drones (if licensed), gimbals, and other production accessories.
• Proficiency in industry-standard creative software, including Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects, and Audition, with experience editing, color correcting, retouching, and producing compelling photo and video assets for digital, print, web, and social media platforms.
• Knowledge of photo and video production.
• Knowledge of TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts video production a plus.
