Communication Studies (Speech) Adjunct (Summer and Fall 2026) – Part‑time instructor position.
Adjunct faculty members plan and teach undergraduate courses in speech and general communications to students with diverse academic backgrounds. Duties include development of syllabi, delivery of live and recorded lectures, grading, and providing academic guidance. Faculty may also assist the agency or state government during emergencies as required.
Selected candidate’s offer is contingent upon successful completion of a comprehensive background investigation, including fingerprint checks, employment and education verification, credit checks where relevant, and other VCCS requirements such as I‑9 and E‑Verify.
