Job summary

Montcure, LLC seeks a Communications Specialist to produce outreach material against a controlled program fact base: newsletters and topic-specific products, graphics and social content coordinated with the Department's communications organization, communications plan development and review, Section 508 conformance, and impact assessment using program inquiry traffic and survey indicators.

The role supports a Department of Defense health program serving wounded, ill, and injured service members

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public affairs, journalism, or a related field.
• 3+ years of communications or public affairs support to a federal client.
• Demonstrated plain-language writing for general audiences.
• Experience producing Section 508 conformant documents and materials.
• Experience developing newsletters and topic-specific outreach products.
• Experience coordinating products through a customer review and approval chain.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and at least one design or publishing tool.

This role supports a Department of Defense health program serving wounded, ill, and injured service members and their caregivers.

Status: Contingency – This work is contingent upon award.

Salary: $60,000 - 70,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
