  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA is preferred but not required.

Required Degree

PhD in Speech-Language Pathology or related area.

The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience
  • Earned Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related area from an accredited university

  • Specialization in all areas related to Speech-Language Pathology are encouraged to apply

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred but not required

Position Summary

The McKay School of Education at Brigham Young University invites applications for a Continuing Faculty Status track (tenure track equivalent) professorial position in the Department of Communication Disorders. Starting rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

This faculty position will focus on providing high-quality instruction to undergraduate and graduate students in the field of communication sciences and disorders, teaching a range of courses that support the academic and clinical preparation of future speech-language pathologists or audiologists, while promoting the mission and aims of a BYU education. This position will also require the development of a programmatic and productive research program, which involves students in a mentored learning environment.

This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
