Archer Western Construction - Common Laborer

Archer Western Construction is currently seeking a Common Laborer for the Tom Taylor WTP Balance of Plant Project in Lewisville, TX.

The Common Laborer will perform tasks involving physical labor on construction job sites, including commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects. Responsibilities include operating hand and/or power tools as needed, preparing sites, and assisting with other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical labor tasks as instructed by the supervisor
• Work with crew members and operate various hand and power tools, including drills, hammers, etc.
• Clean and prepare construction sites, including erecting scaffolding, removing debris, and digging trenches
• Load and unload supplies manually and with equipment

Qualifications

• Verifiable experience preferred (1 year)
• Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffolds/ladders
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions
• Adherence to safety policies and effective communication skills
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Good manual dexterity; ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
