Job summary

Associa is seeking an on-site janitorial associate to clean common areas across our community facilities, including Information Centers, Fitness Center, kitchens, and restrooms. Duties include dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and glass cleaning to maintain a pristine, welcoming environment.

You will greet residents with a warm smile, maintain a professional appearance, and assist in on-site resident social events. A high school diploma and basic English skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to use general office equipment such as telephone, computer, printer, copier.

Responsibilities

• Clean all surfaces in common areas (e.g. Information Centers, Fitness Center, kitchens, restrooms) to include dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and glass cleaning.
• Empty garbage cans from all amenity spaces including restrooms and dog waste stations.
• Clean and maintain light fixtures for replacement bulbs. Report damaged fixtures to maintenance for repair.
• Inspect conditions of furniture and fixtures for tears, rips, and stains and report to maintenance.
• Post caution signs to limit pedestrian traffic when necessary.
• Patrol grounds for trash and debris along roads, maintaining a 'Clean as You Go' mindset.
• Greet residents when in contact with a warm smile, and genuine greeting.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Assist in execution of on-site resident social events.
