QED Electric seeks a Product Manager - Commodities to drive profitable growth in large and complex wire and conduit opportunities. You will lead commodity strategy, manage supplier relations, and coordinate RFQs with sales to optimize margins.

Responsibilities include monitoring market dynamics, advancing sourcing initiatives, and ensuring orders are fulfilled while maintaining profitability. This role requires strong analytics and ERP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field required.
• 5-8+ years in commodity category management, strategic sourcing, or procurement.
• Experience with electrical product categories such as wire & cable preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive commodity category strategy.
• Monitor market dynamics and supply chain risks.
• Negotiate with suppliers, contracts, rebates, and partnerships.
• Drive sourcing initiatives to improve landed cost and margins.
• Coordinate and close commodity opportunities in RFQs.
• Partner with sales to book orders based on market feedback.
• Manage commodity orders from PO to fulfillment.
• Serve as the local expert for commodity services and solutions.
• Promote new services to differentiate in the marketplace.
• Analyze competitor products, pricing, and opportunities.
• Build relationships with sales, branch managers, and regional leadership.
• Oversee purchasing to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Update POs and resolve discrepancies; monitor inventory.
