Purpose of the Role
The Commodity Manager Plastics supports the Sr. Global Commodity Manager in managing IMMI’s Thermoplastic Processing supply base, including related secondary processes. This role leads supplier relationship development to secure the best total cost, highest-quality products delivered on time to IMMI’s global manufacturing footprint.
Nature & Scope
The Plastics Commodity Manager is responsible for cultivating strong, effective partnerships with suppliers to ensure IMMI procures materials that are safe, high-quality, and consistently delivered on time. This role collaborates closely with internal teams including Quality, PC&L, Engineering, Finance, Program Management, and Sales/Marketing to support company objectives and minimize internal conflicts.
