IMMI is seeking a dynamic Metals Commodity Manager to support Sr. Global Commodity Managers in managing our supply base of metal stampers, spring manufacturers, and fabricators. Drive supplier relationships and ensure top-quality, cost-effective products for our global manufacturing footprint. You'll create and execute strategies, develop and negotiate with suppliers, and collaborate with various departments to deliver exceptional products on time, prevent manufacturing disruptions, and be a key player in our success. LOCATION: Onsite- Westfield, IN

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Commodity strategy creation, company alignment, and execution.
• Identifying, evaluating, and developing suppliers.
• Developing relationships with key personnel at partner suppliers.
• Negotiating with suppliers for best total cost options.
• Initiate RFQ’s for new product or engineering VA/VE projects and award business per strategy.
• Training and developing suppliers on IMMI’s expectations for Quality and Delivery.
• Prevent IMMI manufacturing from having line-down situations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Purchasing, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• 10+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience.
• Highly developed negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Complex data analytical skills with demonstrated results.
• Experience with Oracle ERP and Supplier Portal.
• Experience with Metal Stamping, Progressive Die Tooling, Steel Manufacturing.
