Job description

Our client, a design and builder of control systems for utility vehicles, is seeking a Commodity Manager to join their team. As a Commodity Manager, you will be part of the Operations Team supporting Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience understanding PCBA assemblies, component lifecycle management, and electronics market trends, intermediate to advanced cost analysis skills and familiarity with supply-chain risk management, including lead-time variability and part obsolescence. This position will not support candidates with visa requirements and will not be supported by relocation assistance. Candidates local to the Milwaukee, WI area will be given the highest consideration. This is a direct hire role with an option of contract to direct hire status. Requirements

• 7-10 years of related experience
• Strong understanding of PCBA assemblies, component lifecycle management, and electronics market trends.
• Intermediate to advanced cost analysis skills (should-cost modeling, TCO analysis).
• Familiarity with supply-chain risk management, including lead-time variability and part obsolescence.
• Effective negotiation and contract management capabilities.
