Job summary

Canon Recruiting seeks a Commodities Trade Control Analyst for the GFICCO team in Houston, TX. The role begins with on-site training and then shifts to hybrid work after training completion.

Compensation is $40.37 per hour, paid weekly, under a contract from 11/2/2026 to 11/1/2027 with possible extension. Responsibilities include trade validation, amendments, and reconciliation; supporting regulatory and management reporting; and driving process improvements in a fast-paced commodities

Qualifications

• Attention to detail with accurate reconciliation and recording.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle and settlement processes.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Perform trade validation by reconciling trades and ensuring accurate system booking.
• Process trade amendments to correct booking errors and maintain accurate trade records.
• Investigate, elevate, and resolve trade breaks in partnership with Sales, Trading, and Operations teams.
• Support regulatory and management reporting activities as required.
• Contribute to process improvement, risk reduction, and control enhancement initiatives.
• Respond to ad hoc requests and support broader team priorities as needed.
