Job summary

Canon Recruiting in Houston, TX is seeking a Commodities Trade Control Analyst on a contract role from 11/02/2026 to 11/01/2027. The role includes training on-site, with hybrid work once fully trained, and a pay rate of $40.37 per hour, paid weekly.

The successful candidate will perform trade validation, reconciliation, amendments, and regulatory reporting while working in a fast-paced GFICCO team environment. Training and strong onboarding support are provided.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of commodities experience preferred.
• Experience with an ETRM system, such as Endur Openlink, preferred
• Full technical training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform trade validation by reconciling trades and ensuring accurate system booking.
• Process trade amendments to correct booking errors and maintain accurate trade records.
• Investigate, escalate, and resolve trade breaks in partnership with Sales, Trading, and Operations teams.
• Support regulatory and management reporting activities as required.
• Contribute to process improvement, risk reduction, and control enhancement initiatives.
• Respond to ad hoc requests and support broader team priorities as needed.
