Job summary

Simplicity Group in San Diego, CA is seeking a highly organized Commissions Associate to join our in-office team and help process compensation data. You will reconcile financial records, enter commission data into Salesforce, and maintain accurate client and compensation records while supporting audits and inquiries.

Reports to: Manager, Commissions. This is a full-time role located in-office in San Diego with potential peak-hour hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in finance, insurance, accounting or business.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Finance, economics, business, mathematics or similar.
• Strong math and analytical thinking skills.
• Detail oriented and comfortable working with large data sets in Excel.
• Willingness to work extended hours during peak processing periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process daily commission data, including statements and payout cycles.
• Reconcile financial records and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate ledger entries.
• Maintain accurate client and compensation records, including setup, review, and electronic documentation of financial accounts.
• Review, upload and enter commission data into Salesforce and maintain accurate, trackable records of commissions and supporting data.
• Respond to and resolve compensation-related inquiries from internal team members and external financial professionals.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance by reviewing, storing, and auditing compensation documentation.
• Support audit readiness by preparing and organizing documentation for third-party financial audits.
