PV Hardware is seeking a Commissioning Technician to inspect the installation quality of solar projects, trackers and controller units at field sites. The role involves extensive travel across the US and collaboration with the commissioning deputy manager, site staff and HSE team.

• Must have experience inspecting installation quality in renewable energy projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience working on-site at renewable energy projects is an asset.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronics equipment.
• Knowledge of automation and programming languages.
• Knowledge of civil works.
• Passport and ability to travel internationally is an asset.

• Check the correct condition and installation of the follower control equipment.
• Check the correct assembly of the structure.
• Use Excel templates to report work and verifications.
• Follow the commissioning procedure.
• Resolve incidents during commissioning.

Requirements

• Ability to travel about 90% of the time within the US.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience working at the site in renewable energy project would be asset.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronics equipment.
• Knowledge of automata and their programming languages.
• Knowledge of civil works.
• Passport: Ability to travel internationally is an asset.
