Shamrock Business Consulting is seeking an experienced Commissioning Superintendent to lead the commissioning and closeout on a large data center project in El Paso, TX. You’ll shepherd complex electrical, controls, and mechanical systems from installation to final acceptance.

You’ll coordinate the GC, subcontractors, commissioning agents, and the owner's operations team, apply QA/QC processes, perform L2/L3 tests, and drive punch lists to closeout. Data center experience required.

Formación

• 7+ years in construction or commissioning, with supervision experience.
• Data center construction experience required.
• L2 and L3 commissioning hands-on experience.
• Deep knowledge of electrical, controls/I&C, or mechanical systems.
• Proven ability to close punch lists and turnover.

Our client is a national leader in NETA testing, commissioning, and staff augmentation for the mission-critical industry.

They need an experienced, highly technical Commissioning Superintendent to run commissioning and closeout on a large data center project in El Paso, TX. You'll be the technical leader who takes complex electrical and mechanical systems all the way through final acceptance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Commissioning Execution: Lead every phase of commissioning, including L2 and L3 functional testing for critical power and cooling infrastructure.
• QA/QC: Put rigorous QA/QC procedures in place and enforce them through construction and commissioning.
• Closeout: Drive project closeout: punch lists, final sign-off, and complete closeout documentation.
• Technical Leadership: Bring depth in one or more of these areas: electrical (MV, LV, UPS, generators), controls/I&C (BMS, fiber-optic controls, DCS), or mechanical (HVAC, chiller plants, data center cooling).
• Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot complex system deficiencies in the field and get them fixed.
• Team Coordination: Coordinate the GC, subcontractors, commissioning agents, and the owner's operations team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years in construction or commissioning, with at least 3 years as a Superintendent or lead Cx.
• Data center construction experience is required.
• Hands‑on experience with L2 and L3 commissioning.
• Deep technical knowledge in electrical, controls (I&C and fiber optic), and/or mechanical systems.
• Proven ability to close: punch list resolution, system sign-off, and turnover.
• Proficient with commissioning software and document management.
