Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Commissioning Specialist (Mechanical) to support startup, testing, commissioning, and turnover of mechanical systems in Haskell, TX. You will work closely with project teams, technicians, and clients to ensure systems meet performance and project requirements.

Responsibilities include startup, testing, inspections, documenting commissioning activities, reviewing drawings, and witnessing equipment tests.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical construction, HVAC, or commissioning projects.
• Understanding of commissioning processes, documentation, and turnover procedures.
• Knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building systems.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Data center, mission-critical, healthcare, industrial, or manufacturing project experience.

• Ability to interpret controls diagrams and sequences of operation.
• Experience working with owners, facility teams, or end users.
• Knowledge of MEP coordination and commissioning best practices.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Haskell, TX.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $49.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
