Job summary

Job description

About the role

We are looking for a Commissioning Project Manager of Renewable Energy for a 1‑year contract (W‑2). The position is remote with required travel to various job sites. The role reports to the Commissioning Director and involves managing the commissioning, startup, and operational turnover of renewable power plant projects, including wind, solar, and battery storage.

Location / Compensation

Remote work with travel to different sites. Per diem at GSA rates. Base salary: $40.00–$45.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure assigned projects’ commissioning activities are performed with high quality and follow all safety policies.
• Coordinate and manage EPC contractor personnel, OEM startup personnel, third‑party startup contractors, and operations personnel on site, for site commissioning and startup.
• Ensure compliance with all project contractual documents, including Power Purchase Agreements and Large Generator Interconnect Agreements, with the local utility.
• Oversee commissioning personnel for multiple sites to meet contractual obligations for all assigned projects.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise and input into team strategic planning for safety, personnel, and quality and efficiency improvement.
