Job summary

ARCO National Holdings is seeking a Commissioning Manager for mission-critical data center projects. You will lead commissioning activities, develop plans, coordinate with PMs and subs, and oversee testing to ensure readiness and performance.

Travel or site-based work is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred, with 5+ years in commissioning or related construction. Strong collaboration and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in building commissioning or mission-critical construction.
• Hands-on experience commissioning data centers.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with integrated systems testing and turnover processes.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in high-pressure environments.
• Willingness to travel or be site-based as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Construction Management field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of commissioning activities for data center projects.
• Develop and manage commissioning plans, schedules, and documentation from design through turnover.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Superintendent, and subcontractors to align commissioning scope.
• Lead commissioning meetings with the team.
• Oversee functional performance testing of electrical, mechanical, controls, and life safety systems.
• Review design documents and submittals for operational readiness.
• Track and resolve commissioning issues, deficiencies, and punch list items.
• Ensure integrated systems testing is executed safely and successfully.
• Support training of owner’s operations staff and development of O&M documentation.
• Verify systems meet uptime, redundancy, and performance requirements.
• Manage a smooth transition from construction to operations.

A Day in the Life
