Location: Birmingham, UK
Job Type: Full-time contract, initial 6-12 months (potential extension until October 2028 and beyond)
Work Environment: Working from home with potential monthly meetings in Birmingham or site visits, and occasional EU Hub visits
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
Plan, prepare, and coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities leading to project completion. Develop and ensure adherence to detailed commissioning schedules and plans, covering all phases from pre-commissioning to handover. Prepare or update comprehensive commissioning manuals, develop reporting structures, and coordinate with third-party providers. Develop pre-commissioning test procedures, rectify deficiencies, and ensure compliance with client and legislative requirements. Liaise with government agencies for approvals, prepare client acceptance forms, and ensure satisfactory sign-off. Develop quality, environmental, and safety commissioning plans.
A Specialist Professional (P4) is a recognized subject matter expert, typically with advanced education and extensive work experience. Responsibilities include managing large projects or processes with limited oversight, coaching and reviewing work of lower-level professionals, and solving complex problems.
