Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Commissioning Engineer Lead to drive quality and lead a team responsible for commissioning modular data centers from factory testing through site deployment. You will oversee electrical, mechanical, and IT systems integration, ensuring safety and compliance.

The role emphasizes planning, execution, and reporting while maintaining records, FAT/SAT, and collaboration with design and operations to meet client specifications. Will travel to deployment sites as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in commissioning, preferably in data centers or critical infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of modular construction and prefabricated systems.
  • Familiarity with BMS, EPMS, and other monitoring/control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel to deployment sites as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all commissioning activities adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.

Job Summary

The Commissioning Engineer Lead plays a critical role in ensuring that modular data centers are installed, tested, and fully operational according to design specifications and client requirements. This role involves overseeing the commissioning process from factory testing through site deployment, including integration of electrical, mechanical, and IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
Commissioning Planning & Execution

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 86,400 - USD 129,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
