The Commissioning Engineer in Training I works under Cx staff to develop commissioning plans from construction documents, perform site visits, and prepare test procedures while learning policies. Ideal candidates hold ABET-accredited engineering degrees, plan to pass the FE exam within the first year, and are proficient with Revit,

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• FE exam to be passed within the first year.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering software (Revit, AutoCAD).

Responsibilities

• Prepares commissioning plans from contract documents and training matrices.
• Assists with data input for Cx checklists and prepares test procedures.
• Reads blueprints, technical drawings, and shop drawings and performs site visits.
• Works with project managers to ensure conformance to design specifications.
• Develops technical documentation, proposals, and presentations.
• Attends training to become a certified commissioning provider.
