Job summary

Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR) is seeking an Engineering in Training for commissioning projects. You will support commissioning plans, prepare test procedures, and participate in site visits to verify conformance with design intent.

You will work under Cx staff, learn policies, and pursue certification while contributing to project teams. ABET-accredited engineering degree is required, with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited college.
• Requires learning Cx policies and procedures and site observation experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares commissioning plans from contract documents and labour estimates.
• Assists with data input for Cx checklists and test procedures.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, technical drawings, and shop drawings.
• Performs project site visits to observe conformance to design specs.
• Attends in-house training to become a certified commissioning provider.
• Supports development of technical documentation, proposals and presentations.
