Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is seeking a Technical Field Advisor II, Commissioning to support the commissioning of gas and steam turbines at customer sites. The role involves mechanical commissioning of pump and fan-driven subsystems, testing, pipe flushing, inspection, and assisting with plant startup and testing.

Travel up to 90% domestically and internationally. The candidate will work under the site Commissioning Lead and must have power generation experience, strong engineering skills,

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2–5 years of experience in power generation construction, commissioning, or industrial operation.
• Strong analytical skills for engineering problem solving.
• Proficiency with office software and analytical tools.

Responsabilidades

• Follow Mitsubishi Power and site safety requirements at all times.
• Execute daily assigned tasks to commission turbine and auxiliary systems under direction of the commissioning lead/senior engineer.
• Startup, operate, and troubleshoot large frame gas and steam turbines.
• Read and understand machine process diagrams and functional diagrams.
• Inspect turbines and other plant equipment.
• Provide operator training prior to commercial operation.
• Complete documentation, test certificates, and drawings for site turnover.
• Oversee installation and testing of assigned systems.
• Inspect systems and report findings to the commissioning lead.
• Report non-conformance issues and interface with engineering design teams.
• Travel up to 90% domestically and internationally.
