Job summary
Superior is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to support Field and Project Operations through commissioning planning and execution. The role is based on a job site in Conesville, Ohio, and involves developing MOPs, supporting LOTO planning, and leading readiness reviews.
You will work with owners, construction managers, and testing partners while ensuring safe energization of electrical systems and adherence to codes.
Qualifications
- Experience in design, construction, and installation of electrical building systems.
- Experience in quality control, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of medium/low voltage power distribution, switchgear, UPS, generators, and redundancy.
Responsibilities
- Develop energization and electrical performance methods and procedures (MOPs).
- Support LOTO planning and energized work coordination.
- Lead portions of pre-energization readiness reviews.
- Identify and communicate risks related to startup and system integration.
- Track commissioning progress and support issue resolution.
- Support QA and commissioning efforts at project sites.
- Collaborate with manufacturers, distributors, and testing partners.
- Interface with owners, construction managers, and project stakeholders to address technical questions.
