Role: Commissioning Engineer – Electrical

Number – 4 Vacancies currently

Location: US-based (remote)

Working pattern: 100% travel based role

Salary – $90,000-$125,000

Responsibilities

• Review owner project requirements
• Assist in performing scope reviews
• Assist in creating commissioning plans, checklists, and tests
• Perform field visits and observe commissioning inspections and tests where prescribed means and methods are provided
• Assist in writing issue descriptions and field reports
• Assist in creating Systems Manuals
• Build effective working relationships with people of diverse backgrounds and organisational levels
• Support planning and execution of system tests, including NETA, SCADA, controls, and operations verification of energy storage systems
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, and/or Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical field, or equivalent field experience
• Minimum one year of construction management or commissioning experience, preferably with an MEP contractor or commissioning firm
• Detail orientation sufficient to organise and manage multiple project tasks
• Basic understanding of key construction documents and their relationship to project management, field execution, and QA/QC
• Basic understanding of how design, construction, start-up, and turnover align within the project delivery process
• Fundamental knowledge of commissioning processes and commissioning process delivery
