Ramboll is seeking motivated and inquisitive candidates to join the Energy Market in our Phoenix, AZ office.

Your starting point for constant growth

As a commissioning engineer you will be a part of our Advanced Manufacturing Department, consisting of many process engineers, project and construction managers, involved in the design, construction, start-up, commissioning, and testing of process and building system/equipment.

  • Must have at least a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
  • Must have completed coursework in Structural Mechanics, Engineering Mechanics, and Quality Assurance.
  • Must be willing to travel to client sites throughout the United States.
  • Must have at least 12 months of experience in the advertised position or in a related position.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Preparation and execution of commissioning documents, coordination of commission activities and issues identification, tracking, and resolution support.
  • Provide engineering and technical support to projects; to include writing reports, conducting audits, troubleshooting, performing tests to ensure client specifications are met.
  • Maintain client relationships by representing a professional and competent demeanor; ensure clients best interests are kept at the forefront.
  • Travel to/from client sites to ensure adherence to schedule, scope, and budget.
  • Properly record and document information needed for client acceptance and historical reference.
  • Training maintenance and operative staff where appropriate on equipment.
