As a Commissioning Agent in our Phoenix office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

Responsibilities
  • Resolve commissioning challenges and complete assigned tasks, including developing and implementing commissioning process delivery plans from Owner's Project Requirements (OPR), Basis of Design (BOD), plans and specification construction documents, and information gathered from users, project partners, field surveys, and code research.
Qualifications
  • Technical or Associate Degree in HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, or architectural design, or construction engineering from an accredited technical institution or college; or commensurate design or construction experience.
  • General understanding of building systems across disciplines including fire protection, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing/piping.
  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret codes, guidelines and standards related to commissioning, design and construction.
  • Experience in computer operation and ability to learn engineering calculation programs, computer-aided drafting/BIM software for the purpose of accessing and interpreting design requirements.
  • Valid driver's license and state required vehicle insurance.
  • Commissioning certification with a nationally recognized professional body.
  • Ability to combine personal judgment with a wide variety of data and information to implement commissioning criteria.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, including carrying out appropriate follow-through with others, giving and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Communicates well with clients, project partners and with individuals at all levels in the organization.
  • Ability to apply safety training to specific construction situations and avoid unsafe work environments.
  • Understanding and safe use of test and measurement equipment and common tools.
  • Experience in diagnosing and solving construction and operational problems.
  • Strong spoken and written communications skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively both individually and in team environments.
