Join us to apply for the Commissioning Agent role at Henderson Engineers.

Henderson Engineers is seeking a Commissioning Agent to join their Commissioning Team in Las Vegas. The employee will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing building systems commissioning, retro-commissioning, and ongoing commissioning projects. The role involves client and employee management, technical support for the commissioning team, training staff, and project planning.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant construction or engineering field preferred (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Science/Management).
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Commissioning certifications (NEBB, BCxA, AABC, ASHRAE).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in various facilities.
• Advanced knowledge of automation, controls, HVAC, plumbing, fire safety, lighting, and testing.
• Understanding of building energy codes, ASHRAE, ACG, LEED requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineering License (preferred).
• OSHA training (preferred).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain client relationships, create proposals, and manage project scheduling and staffing.
• Manage project budgets and billing.
• Review project documentation, generate checklists, and oversee testing processes.
• Lead and participate in commissioning meetings, site visits, and testing.
• Develop functional performance test scripts and coordinate reviews.
• Generate reports and ensure project completion.
• Engage in business development activities, including presentations and relationship management.
