DG Solutions LLC in Arden, NC, is hiring a Commissioned Designer Sales Representative to provide in-home design consultations for cabinets and closets; some territory includes Upstate SC.

You will estimate proposals, place orders, coordinate with installers, and maintain weekly activity reports and financial targets. Part-time is possible; some evenings and Saturdays may be required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of sales, design, or estimating experience; 3+ years preferred
• 1–2 years of cabinet/closet design experience and ability to learn CAD software

Commissioned Designer Sales Representative

Immediate HIRE – Commissioned Designer/Sales Rep for the WNC and some Upstate SC. Possible to start part-time.

You must be located within our geographical area to visit clients in person in their homes for design consultations.

Responsibilities

• Provide design consultations in client homes.
• Estimate, design proposals, and follow‑up for cabinet and closet projects.
• Place and oversee orders for custom cabinetry and hardware.
• Submit customer proposals and quote documentation in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with installers and office staff to ensure project completion on time.
• Maintain weekly activity reporting and financial target documentation.
• Attend marketing events and sales appointments, including occasional evenings and Saturdays.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 2–3 years of sales, design, or estimating experience; 3+ years preferred.
2. 1–2 years of cabinet or closet design experience and strong ability to learn and use CAD software.
3. Strong communication skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe, email, and scanning.
4. Excellent listening and customer‑service skills.
5. Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to complete designs with urgency.
6. Strong verbal and written communication; proactive phone follow‑up.
7. Portfolio of successful, completed projects.
8. Ability to work effectively in a team with administrative, field personnel, and customers.
