Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer in Nashville, TN. The officer will safeguard personnel and assets, patrol facilities, and enforce site rules. The role requires 3+ years of armed security or related experience, or 5+ years in security with last 3 years armed, plus 21+ years of age and a valid license.

Starting pay is $26.00 per hour. Full-time positions include comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k) and paid orientation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5+ years verifiable experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of law enforcement, military, or private armed security experience.
• Minimum of 21 years of age and valid driver’s license, background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information.
• Patrols around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to protect people and assets.
• Preserve order and enforce site rules and directives.
• Maintain proficiency with protective equipment and weapons.
• Greet guests and escort visitors while securing ingress/egress points.
• Follow post orders and report safety concerns and incidents.
