Job summary

Allied Universal in Jackson, TN is hiring an Armed Security Officer to safeguard people, property and information at client facilities. You will patrol on foot, bike or vehicle, deter crime, and report security incidents promptly.

Starting pay is $26.00 per hour. We offer paid orientation, medical, dental and vision insurance, and a 401(k) for full-time staff. Applicants should have 3+ years armed security or military/law enforcement, be 21+, and pass a thorough background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 5+ years verifiable experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of law enforcement, military, or private armed security.
• Minimum of 21 years of age and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services and protect people and assets.
• Conduct patrols by foot, bicycle or vehicle around the facility.
• Enforce site rules and report safety concerns or incidents.
• Maintain proficiency with all protective equipment and weapons.
• Greet guests, escort visitors, and secure entry/exit points.
