Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Commission Manager to lead operations for our retail introducing broker-dealer.

You will oversee end-to-end commission processes for annuities, life insurance, packaged products, and advisory fees, while partnering with advisors, sales leadership, and product teams to ensure accurate compensation. You will manage a team, drive process improvements, and ensure timely financial reporting and controls in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience in broker-dealer operations or wealth management is preferred.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end commission process across annuity, life insurance, packaged products and advisory fee lines.
• Validate and reconcile commission data; manage payment cycles and exception reporting.
• Resolve advisor inquiries on compensation, timing, and adjustments.
• Prepare commission reporting and monthly journal entries; support month-end close.
• Lead system enhancements and automation initiatives in commission ops.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.
