Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Commission & Field Service Specialist III to lead the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of complex industrial equipment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring equipment is installed to specification, systems are properly integrated, and operations are optimized to meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute on-site equipment installation, commissioning, and service activities.
  • Coordinate with engineering, production, and customer teams to ensure project timelines and technical specifications are met.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and control system issues in the field.
  • Provide training and technical support to end-users and internal staff.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of service reports, site evaluations, and installation checklists.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures at all times.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Option A: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of hands-on experience with industrial equipment installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
  • Option B: Minimum of 15 years of direct, hands-on experience in industrial equipment installation and maintenance management without a degree.
  • Demonstrated expertise in mechanical, electrical, and control systems related to industrial equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in field environments.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading field service teams or managing complex installations.
  • Familiarity with technical documentation, schematics, and troubleshooting protocols.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally.
