Job summary

Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to fuel growth in our store. You will generate retail sales, assess customer needs, and tailor complete tech solutions.

You’ll join a team offering comprehensive benefits from day one, a generous commission program, and opportunities to advance. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts required, with community engagement and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of relevant experience required (work or military).
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays (schedule known 4 weeks in advance).
• Open to pick up additional shifts, especially in peak periods.
• Experience in commission-based environments is a plus.
• Customer service and sales experience are valuable.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by leveraging passion for technology and customer service.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by connecting and asking questions.
• Position product insights and solutions to provide a top-down sales solution.
• Close sales with strong communication to meet customer needs.
• Regular training and up-skilling in merchandising and inventory operations.
• Potential to grow customer base via outbound calls and texts to existing Verizon customers.
• Engage with the community at Verizon-sponsored events.
