Job summary

La Farm Bakery in Cary, NC is seeking a customer-focused café team member. You will deliver world-class service, prepare high-quality foods per La Farm standards, and support daily café operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires experience in culinary prep/catering, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask while maintaining a positive team-oriented attitude. Weekend and holiday shifts are required; opportunities for growth exist within a great team.

Qualifications

• > Experience in culinary field, prep and/or catering work experience required.
• > Must be able to work effectively in a confined area.
• > Knowledge of weights, volume, and cooking procedures.
• > Exceptional customer service skills.
• > High attention to detail.
• > Great relationship building skills and demonstrated positive demeanor as a team player.
• > Ability to work in fast paced environment and multitask.
• > Flexibility required: Weekends required, holiday work required, two days off (not consecutive).
• > Multi-lingual a plus.
• > Basic English reading and communication skills.

Operations Systems & Procedures

Safely and properly use equipment for café menu items.

Responsible for all aspects of assigned station.

Completes daily checklists.

Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains utensils and tools.

Communicate with team and manager.

Ensure overall unit safety and sanitation goals and policies.

Maintain grade “A” or better by beating health and sanitation inspection standards.

Uphold company standards and policies for opening/closing.

Ensure safe working conditions and comply with all laws.
