Job summary

Challenge Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager (Commissary) to oversee work opportunities for individuals with disabilities, leading integrated teams and providing work support to help participants achieve independence.

Based at Scott Air Force Base in Mascoutah, IL, the role manages shelving and janitorial staff, drives safety, training and timekeeping, and ensures quality, budget control, and client satisfaction across the contract.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors Degree in business or related field. Will consider a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience: 2+ years work experience preferably in retail, grocery, or convenience store environment or department manager. 5+ years of supervisor experience preferred.
• Pre-Employment Tests: Word, Excel
• Computer skills: Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Planning: Generate ideas and approaches to maximize growth and efficiency; communicate a vision; forecast revenue and expenses; manage inventory and staffing; budget updates.
• Performance Management: Ensure work aligns with SOW and policies; monitor expenses; provide data for negotiations; enforce safety and PPE usage.
• Customer Satisfaction: Develop partnerships with contracting representatives; monitor QC; provide reporting and resolve issues.
• Client Development: Ensure services meet client needs; coach supervisors; help clients develop job skills.
• Effective Leadership: Lead teams; hire, train, discipline; build company culture and meet goals.
