Job summary

Aramark’s Commissary division is seeking a Supervisor to coordinate commissary operations at the jail, ensuring timely receiving, tagging, pricing, and storage of merchandise. The role includes assigning tasks to staff, managing inventory, and ensuring high standards of guest service.

The position requires experience in a similar environment and a high school diploma or equivalent, with duties including training, safety compliance, and POS system mastery.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in a like employment environment or equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the receiving, tagging, pricing, and storing of all incoming merchandise.
• Assigns daily tasks to Gift Commissary staff and ensures tasks are performed correctly and promptly while maintaining high customer service standards.
• Coordinates moving of incoming merchandise to retail office, storage areas, and display floor.
• Cashiers when needed to expedite guest purchases.
• Orchestrates special projects (holidays, events, etc.).
• Informs team about new products or procedures using the information book on the floor.
• Works with General Manager and Commissary Manager to take inventory and maximize on-floor productivity.
• Understands the point-of-sale system thoroughly.
• Assists guests in any possible way.
• Trains new hires on POS, safety, and job responsibilities.
• Follows and implements emergency procedures.
