Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Commissary Supervisor to coordinate commissary operations at the jail. You will oversee receiving, tagging, pricing, and storage of merchandise and supervise Gift Commissary staff to maintain high customer service standards.

The role requires coordinating merchandise flow, assisting guests, training new hires on POS and safety, and ensuring emergency procedures are followed. Previous prison or institutional retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in a like employment environment or equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the receiving, tagging, pricing, and storing of all incoming merchandise.
• Assigns daily tasks to Gift Commissary staff and ensures timely completion with high customer service standards.
• Coordinates the movement of incoming merchandise to retail office, storage areas, and display floor.
• Cashiers when needed to expedite guest purchases.
• Trains new hires on POS system, safety, and job responsibilities.
• Follows emergency procedures and communicates updates to the team.
