Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas, is seeking a Commissary Lead to supervise the commissary team, manage inventory, and ensure safe, orderly warehouse operations. The role reports to management and supports daily operations with training and leadership.

The position offers a full-time schedule with weekly pay and a benefits package including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and opportunities for development and certification reimbursement.

Qualifications

• No high school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of warehouse, commissary, or related experience.
• Experience with Excel or similar database and basic math skills.
• Strong leadership and ability to give clear instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Leads commissary team, assigns duties, trains, coaches, and reports issues to the manager.
• Maintains stock and inventory control, receives shipments, disposes outdated material, cycles counts.
• Maintains safety, security, and cleanliness of storage areas and work spaces.
• Ensures proper closing of the assigned area.
• Initiates procedures to set warehouse standards.

The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is searching for a full-time Commissary Lead to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. In this role, you will assist management in carrying out daily operations within the warehouse and ensuring the success of the team.

Pay

$18.00 – $21.00 / hour

What will you do?

• Leads commissary team, including assigning duties, training, coaching, and counseling, and reporting any associate issues to the manager
• Ensures proper stock of products and maintains daily awareness of product needs, managing inventory control, including receiving shipments, disposing of outdated material, and cycle counting
• Maintains safety, security, and cleanliness of storage areas, passageways, elevators, and work areas
• Ensures the proper closing of the assigned area
• Initiates and organizes procedures to set standards for the warehouse

More about you

• No high school diploma or GED required
• At least one year of warehouse, food and beverage commissary, or related experience is required
• Previous experience with Excel or similar database, with basic math skills management computer systems required
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work cooperatively with others, and independently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and give clear concise instructions

Physical requirements

• Ability to pull, lift, move, and carry up to 165 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching, during the entire length of shift
