Job summary

MDS Maintenance in Houston is seeking an experienced Plumbing Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee multifamily, mixed-use, and hospitality high-rise projects from preconstruction through closeout.

You will drive planning, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. Strong leadership and communication are essential, with ability to read drawings and manage complex vendors.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software (Autodesk, Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, Bluebeam).

Responsibilities

• Manage high rise construction projects from award through completion.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost controls.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and submittals.
• Negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements and change orders.
• Monitor project progress and address issues related to scope, cost, and schedule.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, building codes, and safety standards.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates to upper management.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, pay applications, and project documentation.
• Oversee project closeout, including punch lists, O&M manuals, and warranties.

Job Summary
