Job summary

Tiello, in partnership with an established construction firm, seeks a Waterproofing & Restoration Superintendent in St. Augustine, FL to oversee multiple crews and job sites. You will ensure work meets schedules, budgets, and quality expectations while enforcing safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate people, equipment, and schedules under tight deadlines. Restoration experience is a plus, English-speaking required.

Qualifications

• Restoration experience is a plus.
• English-speaking required; bilingual preferred.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proven ability to lead and communicate effectively with field teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop construction schedules, sequencing, staffing plans, and equipment needs with the Project Manager.
• Direct and oversee construction projects to meet specifications, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Lead and coordinate multiple crews across multiple job sites.
• Communicate schedule changes and project updates to supervisors and field teams.
• Review crew time, production, and daily jobsite performance for accuracy.
• Assist with job progress and cost reports to track project performance.
• Ensure crews and jobsites follow safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Report regularly on project progress, plans, issues, costs, and schedule impacts.
• Organize and manage people, tools, equipment, and resources to achieve goals.
• Make timely decisions and resolve field issues under deadlines.
• Provide strong leadership and maintain accountability across field teams.
• Monitor processes to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Ensure projects meet internal quality standards and customer expectations.
• Maintain a professional and supportive work environment reflecting company values.

Job Title: Waterproofing & Restoration Superintendent

Location: St, Augustine, FL

Salary: $70,000–$85,000/Year + Discretionary Performance Bonuses

Tiello is partnered with an established construction company in their search for an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee multiple crews and job sites while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and according to company and customer expectations.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple crews across multiple projects. Restoration experience is a plus. This position requires someone who can work independently, make decisions under tight deadlines, and effectively coordinate people, equipment, schedules, and jobsite activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Project Manager to develop construction schedules, sequencing, staffing plans, manpower requirements, and equipment needs.
• Direct and oversee construction projects to ensure work is completed according to specifications, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Lead and coordinate multiple crews working across multiple job sites.
• Communicate schedule changes and project updates to supervisors and field teams.
• Review crew time, production, and daily jobsite performance for accuracy.
• Assist with job progress and cost reports to accurately track project performance.
• Ensure crews and jobsites follow company safety policies and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the construction industry
• Restoration experience is a plus
• English-speaking required; bilingual preferred
• OSHA 30 Certification
• Valid driver`s license
• Proven ability to lead and communicate effectively with field teams
• Experience managing multiple crews across multiple job sites
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced construction environment
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions
• Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including overtime when necessary
