Reporting to the CEO, you will be the senior leader accountable for the company’s US business, including strategy, P&L, growth, and customer outcomes. You will set the direction for the market and lead a cross-functional organization spanning Commercial, Customer Success, Implementation, Clinical Operations, and Marketing, with day-to-day execution owned by the leaders of those teams.
This is a market leadership role, not a functional one. Your focus will be on building the organization, aligning its functions around shared goals, representing the company with senior healthcare stakeholders, and developing the US market into a scalable, repeatable business.
Key Responsibilities - Market Strategy & Business Performance
- Own the US market strategy and P&L: set priorities, budgets, and targets, and provide accurate forecasting and performance reporting to the CEO.
- Translate US buying behaviors, budget cycles, and decision pathways into a clear, regionally grounded plan for growth.
- Establish scalable operating rhythms, performance reviews, and planning discipline across the US organization.
- Lead the transition of overall US leadership from the existing leadership team, maintaining continuity with customers, partners, and team members.
- Build and develop a high-performing US organization with clear ownership, strong functional leaders, and shared goals across Commercial, Customer Success, Implementation, Clinical Operations, and Marketing.
- Align the commercial and customer motions so that acquisition, onboarding, adoption, renewal, and expansion work as one connected system.
- Hire and sequence new roles as the business scales, in line with agreed growth triggers.
Customers & Growth
- Set commercial direction with the teams across segmentation, pricing, positioning, and partnerships to grow pipeline, revenue, and market presence.
- Hold Customer Success, Implementation, and Clinical leaders accountable for adoption, retention, expansion, and measurable customer value.
- Act as executive sponsor and escalation point for strategic healthcare accounts and key partners.
- Leverage the company’s established US customer footprint to build referenceable ROI and outcomes cases that accelerate expansion.
Market Presence
- Build senior relationships with healthcare executives, clinical and operational leadership, key industry stakeholders, strategic partners, and professional organizations.
- Represent the company at national and regional industry conferences and professional organizations, while helping expand and engage the company’s US advisory network.
- Partner with global teams on roadmap, contracting, compliance, and vendor management.
- Bring US market intelligence and customer feedback into global strategy, ensuring US customer needs, workflows, and priorities help shape future offerings.
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of leadership experience in MedTech, digital health, perioperative technology, or a related field, including senior responsibility for a US market, region, or business unit.
- A track record of P&L ownership and growing a US hospital or healthcare system business, with leadership across commercial and customer-facing functions.
- Deep understanding of US healthcare procurement, contracting, budgeting, and decision-making, with credibility among senior healthcare executives and clinical and operational leaders.
- An existing network across US healthcare systems and the ability to open senior-level doors.
- Evidence of building and developing leaders and teams, not only inheriting them, and turning strategy into scalable operations.
- The maturity to lead a leadership transition well: respecting what has been built, maintaining continuity, and taking ownership with confidence.
- Comfort operating in a fast-growing environment with an evolving structure.
- Experience launching or scaling a US business within a growing healthcare organization.
