Job summary

externalpmacompanies is seeking a Technical Assistant to support commercial underwriters with processing new and existing customer service requests, rate multi-state business, and maintain accurate customer records.

The role requires five years of rating experience, knowledge of commercial lines and endorsements, and the ability to work independently or in a team while maintaining high-quality documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years in rating multi-state policies and commercial underwriting support.
• Knowledge of commercial line coverages and endorsements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rating manuals and update changes to programs, rates, underwriting guidelines, and logs as assigned.
• Perform rating tasks including manual preparation of new and renewal policies, audits and endorsements for input.
• Review applications and issue commercial line policies.
• Obtain current information from Underwriter to rate and issue policies, endorsements, and quotations.
• Demonstrate commitment to and apply compliance policies and laws in daily work.
